Yamaha R1 Superbike Package 185HP 

    Dano's Performance has developed two Superbike Packages one for the 2007-08 Yamaha R1 and one for the 2009-11 Yamaha R1 model bikes. One of the great features of these packages is that you only need to remove the cylinder head to install them. The typical horsepower gain achieved with each of these packages is 14-16 horsepower (184-186). We highly recommend that you also flow match your fuel injectors to maximize horsepower output and throttle response. See our "Fuel Injector Flow Matching" page for the details. Also recommended is a good quality exhaust system and a Dynojet Power Commander to allow for proper tuning. The following is all that is included in our Yamaha R1 Superbike Package:

                         1) Cylinder head porting which maximizes intake and exhaust air flow

                    2) Install new valve stem seals

                    3) Machine the cylinder head base for added compression

                        4) Custom intake and exhaust cams

                        5) Head gasket

                        6) Manual cam chain tensioner for precise cam timing

    The total price for this Superbike package is $2295.00. All we need for you to send us is your complete cylinder head with cams and when completed we will ship you back the complete package. The cylinder head will be complete and ready to bolt back on to your engine. You may also choose to send us the complete motor and when completed we will ship the complete motor back to you ready to install. If you should choose to send us the complete motor the total price will be $2700.00 + shipping. For our local customers who wish to have us install this Superbike Package the total price with parts and labor is $3100.00. Included with the installation if this Superbike package we will final tune on the Dynojet Dynamometer. Shipping a complete motor via UPS in the U.S. will cost between $100.00 and $150.00. Yamaha R1 Superbike + Package

We developed this  performance package for the guy who desires the ultimate Yamaha R1. This package will produce 195+horsepower at the rear wheel for the ultimate performance. In addition to the components listed above in our Superbike package we include a set of  JE  high compression pistons and a set of Carrillo connecting rods. The price of this package is $5100.00 + shipping. You will need to send us your complete engine and when complete we will ship it back to you ready to install. Call or email us for more details. Local customers who wish to have us install this package the total cost will be $5800.00 which includes Dyno tune.

As part of our Yamaha R1 Superbike Package it is also a good idea to reprogram the ECU (Electronic Control Unit). The 2007-11 Yamaha R1 is fly by wire which means the ECU controls the throttle plate opening and closing. The U.S. models have restricted ignition curves which limits the engines ability to produce a smooth power curve. This being the case the engine cannot produce maximum power and throttle response is compromised because of this limitation. We can custom program your ECU which will allow your bike to produce maximum horsepower in conjunction with our Superbike Package. This ECU programming is intended for racing purposes only. The cost of this service is $350.00 + shipping.
