Fuel Injector Flow Matching

With all the products and modifications that are available today to enhance the performance of today's sport bikes, it's amazing how the fuel injectors are generally overlooked. If all the cylinders do not receive exactly the same amount of fuel, the engine will not respond properly to throttle changes or produce maximum horsepower. Because of all the additives which are now being added to  gasoline the injectors will begin to clog up over time.  Another problem which sometimes occurs in fuel injectors is a sticky plunger, which can cause a rich or a lean condition in that cylinder. For this reason we have found that fuel injector flow matching is a very necessary part of the performance equation. As part of the injector flow matching service we will send back with the injectors a flow print out sheet of your injectors before and after for comparison. We remove the filter screen in the injector and back flush them via an ultrasonic cleaning process. Once the injector is cleaned we install a new filter screen. You simply cannot achieve these results just adding fuel injector cleaner. Typically we will achieve a better  than 2% flow matching between injectors. Your engine will respond much better to throttle changes and depending on how bad your injectors are now, you can expect to see an increase in horsepower. Another great benefit of flow matching your injectors is much improved gas mileage. With the price of gas these days this is all the more reason this should be done.
